Terms of Service

dejawo-art (https://art.dejawo.com) is a companion app for the dejawo-art coloring books. It lets you claim the physical books you own into a digital collection, complete daily quests, earn XP, coins and rewards, keep a coloring streak, and share your progress on a public profile. By creating an account or using the app you accept these terms.

• Accounts are created through Google or Facebook sign-in. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• Pick a username and avatar you have the right to use, and keep them friendly — this is a community for young artists.
• We may suspend or ban accounts that break these terms. Repeated violations lead to strikes; three strikes result in a ban.

Each physical dejawo-art book contains a QR code that claims the book into one account. A claim is permanent and tied to the account that scans it — it can't be transferred between accounts. Claim codes have no cash value and don't represent ownership of anything beyond the digital collection entry.

XP, levels, coins, rewards, and inventory items are virtual gamification markers inside the app. They have no monetary value, can't be bought with real money, exchanged for cash, refunded, or transferred to another user. We may adjust, rebalance, or remove virtual items (for example when a quest or reward changes), though we aim to never take away progress you fairly earned.

• You keep full ownership of the photos you upload (your colored pages, your avatar).
• By uploading you grant us a limited license to store those files, show them back to you, and let our admins review them for quest verification. We don't use your uploads for marketing without asking you first.
• Only upload content you have the right to share, and nothing unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate for a kids-friendly community. We may remove content and issue strikes for violations.

You agree not to:

• Cheat the quest or reward systems (fake uploads, automated scripts, exploiting bugs) — genuine coloring only;
• Impersonate other people or claim books you don't own;
• Probe, scrape, or disrupt the service or other users' accounts;
• Use the community features to harass, spam, or post inappropriate content.

Some books and illustrations sold or shown through the service are created with the help of AI generation tools, curated and assembled by our team. AI output can occasionally be imperfect; we review it before publishing.

The app is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it available and your progress safe, but we can't promise uninterrupted service or that no data will ever be lost. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damages (lost progress, lost virtual items, missed streaks) arising from using the service.

We may update these terms as the app evolves; the "last updated" date above always shows the current version, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it. Questions about these terms: dejawo.studio@gmail.com.
