Privacy Policy

dejawo-art (https://art.dejawo.com) is a gamified companion app for the dejawo-art coloring books: you scan a book's QR code, collect it in your account, and complete daily quests for XP, coins, and rewards. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Write to us at dejawo.studio@gmail.com.

• Account data. When you sign in with Google or Facebook we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider. You can additionally set a display name, a public username, and upload your own avatar.
• Content you upload. Photos of your colored pages (submitted for quest review) and your avatar image.
• Activity data. Your gamification progress (XP, level, coins, streaks), quest assignments and completions, claimed books, reward redemptions, and the social handles you type for follow-verification quests.

• Run your account, collection, quests, streaks, and rewards.
• Review quest photo submissions — an admin approves or rejects each batch before it counts.
• Render your public profile page at /user/<your-username> (only if you set a username).
• Compute aggregate, anonymized statistics shown on the landing page (e.g. number of registered members or colored pages).
• Keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

Sign-in is handled by Google or Facebook — their own privacy policies apply to their platforms. Beyond that, we do not sell your personal data to anyone.

If you tap Accept analytics in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics and Contentsquare to understand how the app is used (pages visited, taps, session replays) so we can make it better. These tools set their own cookies and are only loaded after you agree — if you decline, they never load at all. You can change your choice anytime from the Cookie settings link in the footer.

We keep your data while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it — profile, uploads, quest history, and stored files — by emailing dejawo.studio@gmail.com from your account address. Uploaded photos are deleted from storage when the related account or content is removed.

dejawo-artis made for young artists, but accounts are created through Google or Facebook sign-in, which require users to meet those providers' minimum age. Younger children should use the app together with a parent or guardian, through the adult's account. If you believe a child has created an account on their own, contact us and we will remove it.

Passwords never touch our servers — sign-in is delegated to Google or Facebook. Uploaded files are stored privately and are only visible to you and to our admins. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data with industry-standard measures.

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and its "last updated" date. Material changes will be called out in the app.
